Aerial Silk
Nichola performs a dynamic, moody, and powerful silk act. This act takes you on a journey through movement, it is an exploration of the push and pull of life. It is an honoring of all that we find inside and out, embracing the rough and jolty as well as the harmonious and flowing. Embracing the need to rage and the need to shed, embracing the joy and wonder.
Static Trapeze
Nichola performs a static trapeze act that blends contemporary dance and circus. Combining technical ability with genuine expression, this act is emotive yet playful. This piece was created as a collaboration with musician Jordan Scotney, who composed an original piano piece to accompany the act.
This act can be performed with a recording or with live piano.
Contemporary Hoopdance
To float or to be left breathless. This is a Hoopdance piece that speaks of water. Water is freedom and the terror, the peace and the fear. It is powerful and cleansing.
The character plays between these extremes, the hula represents the water and the salvation, she rises and falls through the hoop, looking for air, inhaling life, she fights and flows with the water. Trying to find the piece below and above, the balance, trying to let go.
Through a physical exploration of undulating movement, combining hooping and contemporary dance technique, the body and the element become one and move in unison to transmit the narrative, to dance a state of being.

Circus Hula Hoop Act

Nichola fuses her unique contemporary style of Hoopdance with a traditional circus feel. See her dazzle you with one, two and three hoops, moving from floor hooping, handstands, twin tech to hoop splitting. Be mesmerized by stunning visual illusions in this high energy and dynamic performance

Nichola can provide roving or stage fire and LED hooping performace.
Fire hooping performances come with a full fire safety plan and equipment. Soul Dance Circus is fully insured for fire performance.
LED hooping performances with 2 Hyperion Smart LED hoops. These amazing hoops can paint images of light in the air, the modes can be costumed designed to suit your event, choreographed to a specific song and they can even spell the name or your event in the air.
